Foundation Modules
AfriQ nSALSA Basic Workforce Induction
Level 1
Compulsory induction covering purpose, Christian ethos, conduct, safeguarding, inclusion and equipment awareness.
Practical Rehearsal, Safeguarding and Health & Safety
Level 1
Rehearsal preparation, safeguarding, health and safety, hazard identification, emergency awareness. Includes practical assessment.
Basic Music Theory and Practical Musicianship
Level 1
Rhythm, beat, tempo, notation, scales, chords, harmony, vocal awareness, ensemble discipline. Includes role-specific practical assessment.
Specialist Modules
Event Security and Backstage Preparedness
Foundation
UK emergency awareness, access control, backstage security, VIP protocol, technical safety, evacuation, crowd safety, incident reporting.
Advanced Event Security, Protocol and B2 Workplace English
Foundation
Scenario interpretation, formal instructions, security vocabulary, workplace grammar, professional communication, radio communication, incident-report writing.
Christian Ethics in Large-Crowd Event Management
Foundation
Christian identity and character, integrity, servant leadership, safeguarding, fair treatment, hospitality, confidentiality, stewardship, anti-bribery awareness, accountability, ethical decision-making.
Creative Worker Visa and Skilled Worker Progression Awareness
Foundation
Purpose of the Creative Worker route, Certificate of Sponsorship, sponsored duties, attendance, absence reporting, outside employment, supplementary work, changing sponsors, immigration compliance, Skilled Worker progression.

Six Traditional Instruments
Specialist
Covers hand drums, xylophone, shakers, bells, shekere and claves — including their history, description, cultural importance and musical examples. Develops respectful cultural knowledge alongside practical listening and ensemble awareness.
Contemporary Musical Instruments
Specialist
Covers drum set, bass guitar, acoustic guitar and saxophone — including their history, construction, musical importance, influential performers and popular musical examples.
Choreography and Vocals
Specialist
Covers choreography, vocals, a cappella music, community performance, inclusion, cultural identity, vocal health and safe movement.

Administrators can override module assignments for individual learners where appropriate.

Learners receive short teaching after an incorrect answer, with instant feedback and micro-tutorials.
Assessment Mode
Learners complete the whole assessment before receiving results and explanations.
